Commercial Hydraulic Elevators

Lins Elevator Service, Inc. provides a complete line of ADA compliant, pre-engineered hydraulic elevators, which range from 2000 pounds to 5000 pound capacity. Custom size larger elevators are also available. The heart of the system is the microprocessor, which is state of the art with all on board diagnostics and solid state dependability. All Lins Elevator Service, Inc. elevator equipment is non-proprietary allowing the building owner to receive competitive pricing for future maintenance requirements.

Hydraulic elevators are used frequently and have a vast range of applications. Small buildings under five stories are typically where hydraulic units are found. Hydraulic units are limited by the number of floors that they can serve. Often these limitations are not due to the inability of the equipment, but reflect more on the cost of installation versus the long-term maintenance costs. Hydraulic elevators, which serve many floors in high traffic facilities, are not as cost efficient as are traction units, in regard to the units’ performance and maintenance cost. Compared to traction units, hydraulic elevators are not as complex. They too require regular systematic preventative maintenance. Although hydraulic units are not as complex, they do consist of man made mechanical devices, which need attention on a regular basis to ensure the safety of their passengers and the continuous operation of the unit. Lins Elevator Service, Inc.’s preventative maintenance program can ensure the longevity and reliability of your investment.

The pump unit consists of an integrally welded tank with rubber isolated mounting for the pump and motor, hydraulic muffler and rubber isolation between the pump unit base and the floor. The valve is a unit type valve with an integral check valve and pressure relief valve. We supply these units in submersible or dry mount configuration depending on the project requirements.

Commercial Traction Elevators

Traction elevators are ordinarily found in buildings that serve more than five floors, however their applications have no limitations in regard to the number of floors they can serve. Traction units can be found in two story office buildings or skyscrapers. Due to the complexity of these traction units they often necessitate a higher level of maintenance. Three factors are taken into consideration when determining the cycle of preventative maintenance visits for traction units. These factors are the environment in which the equipment is located, age of equipment, and use of the elevators. Lins Elevator Service, Inc. would be delighted to survey the equipment at your facility to determine the best preventative maintenance schedule for your needs.

Dumbwaiters

Lins Elevator Service, Inc. Elevator installs dumbwaiters by leading manufacturers in the industry such as Atlas, Matot and Waupaca. In the specifications Matot’s dumbwaiters are being used as our example. We currently offer three different basic models of dumbwaiters. See the following information for the model that best suits your needs.

The DR (drum) dumbwaiter is the perfect choice for any lift of 50 feet or less. At speeds of 50 feet per minute and with load capacities of up to 500 pounds, it is ideally suited for moving a variety of items – from heavy files and office supplies in banks, offices and labs to maintenance equipment in factories.

The TR (traction) dumbwaiter quickly and quietly carries up to 500 pounds to heights up to 250 feet at speeds up to 350 feet per minute. The counterweighted TR is unparalleled for moving everything from office supplies to hospital supplies in high rise applications, eliminating delays and inconvenience and congestion in busy elevators.

The LD dumbwaiter is the perfect fit for light jobs around the home, office or club. Need to haul groceries from one floor to another? How about firewood? Or the office mail? The LD dumbwaiter with its 200 pound capacity makes quick work of it.
